Wedding Anniversary Marriage of Seventy-five Years - Diamond

The seventy-fifth Wedding Anniversary is symbolised by the gift of diamond.

Although the 75th is the second diamond wedding in the anniversary calendar, it was actually the first to exist - the 60th was added in 1897 when Queen Victoria celebrated her Diamond Jubilee.

A favourite stone for a engagement or eternity ring most likely as it stand for "virtue" however its first meaning was "courage" which came from the Greek word "adamas" which translate to 'invincible'

Diamond anniversary parties will probably include generations of family and friends who will be ready with a camera or even a video camera to record a very special event.
